Villa Guadeloupe

The "Carbet" springs from the hillside of the "Soufriere" and reaches down the massif for 10 km. The torrent falls at three different sites from the heights of the cliffs.
The first fall of Carbet : It is reserved to the specialists that know the difficulties. It is also the highest, more than 125 meters. A three hours walk is necessary (round trip).
The second fall : is the most grandiose, with a 110 meters height. It is the most visited and the easiest one. Walking time is 1h round trip.
The Third fall: at the lowest part of the river, is accessible by taking the road from Capesterre. This lovely fall, 20m high, has an incredible water-fall. Walking time is two hours round trip.

La Soufriere : "The old lady", is still active. This 1467 m volcano is the highest speak of the West Indies. The highest point of the crater is named "la Decouverte". At his base the diameter is 900 meters. A marked path invites you in one hour, to discover the grandiose and wild landscape.
At 1467 m; in clear weather you will dominate Guadeloupe and its dependencies!

The Gosier beach is right in front of Gosier isle, where small boats offer round trips.
The “Petit havre” beach : charming and small spot of protected waters.
At Sainte Anne :
“Caravelle” is the Club Med beach : it’s one of the most beautiful beaches.
The “St-Anne beach”: wonderful for swimming and has pretty white sand. Cars must be pay entrance fee.
In St-François :
The “Raisins clairs” beach : tree-shaded, located at the entrance of the town.
At “Pointe des chateaux”:
The Tarare beach : Meeting place for nudist.
“Anse à la gourde”: wonderful, isolated and wild, is protected by coral reefs.
“Les salines”: a sublime, deserted beach located at the end ot “Pointe des chateaux”. The coral reefs protect the site from very violent waters but there is no shade to protect yourself from the sun.
In Moule :
Meeting place for surfers. You can watch surfers along the boulevard when you drive to Moule.
The Bay beach : situated at the entrance. Favorite place for picnics.
“L”autre bord” : beautiful fine sand.
In Anse Bertrand :
“La porte d’Enfer” : this beach offers a very fine view.
“L’Anse Laborde” : beautiful. Try the tasteful cuisine of the famous Prudence.
In Port Louis :
The “Souffleur”beach: big, beautiful and well equipped.

In Basse-Terre :

Cluny beach : wonderful with its turquoise waters, but can be dangerous.
In Deshaies :
“Grande-Anse” beach : very beautiful beach of brown sand. Tree-shaded parking with same typical bars and restaurants.

The Malendure beach : where the Cousteau reserve is located, gives divers spectacular underwater moments.
